The DRAMA did not noted the Jung like Jung in WEBTOON. That's the fact in the real life, girls :3 I just watched this Drama. I haven't seen the webtoon but I loved how yoo jung could be emotionless even though he's happy or mad..indeeed such a weird personality. It annoyed me, cause I really want to see Yoo Jung perspective, someone who has that "half sociopath" character. Everyone has that clear ending, why Yoo Jung didn't have one? overall, cheese in the trap is one of the best kdrama i've ever watch! In fact, the title aptly describes the show which manipulates/traps its viewers totally.Only when i reading the webtoon I can make an conclusion of Jung character. Don't know why when I remember the last episode with sad ending,it's break my heart and makes my tear drops T. I already watching so many K Drama but this drama has torn my heart apart. And for In Ho and Hong Seol, i really wish a happy ending for them not in a lover state, but in term of their aspiration and glad finally their made it (Seol for having a good job and In Ho as Well Known Pianist). For me, it was really innapropriate for director to cut Yoo Jung's scene.. there's a rumor that this will have a continuation? anyway, it's almost 2 years since it was aired but i'm still watching it! The hardships portrayed by the characters makes us to want them to had a better ending especially the twins and seol, i can't say im happy with the ending, I've watched a lot of series with this like of endings, but rarely i get this heavy vibes with which this series gives me. I had resisted watching this for a long time due to the infamous "ending" or non ending, to be more precise.
I had watching the drama because I feel attracted about Jung character , I mean the way his mind work I want to known more . Kim Go Eun's uniqueness make me want to watch her more, she's not the stand out typical beautiful actress but as you go along with her she really stands out especially the way she act in this. But a very few story writers and directors are real saddist when it comes to creating a cliffhanging ending. I am currently watching this drama, and based on what I’ve read from the comments, the ending is not that good.
Drama depicts the delicate relationship between female university student Hong Seol (Kim Go-Eun) and her senior Yoo Jung (Park Hae-Jin). am not yet done with this drama but from the comments i would say this drama deserves no award because after it starts on a good note focusing on Jung but later diverts to In HO IT makes no sense at all tthat this two Hong and Jung did not get their happy ending there is no sense in the film at all and no moral lesson this film is totally wack but i would say thank God Bae Suzy did not accept the role because we wouldn't have felt the emotion and besides Jung is too fine for her @cheezy The scene plot you describe for IN HO (how kind he is to Seol), in the comic, that scene was meant to be played by Yoo Jung. But in the end of drama I still hopes they make a remake or second season of this, I hope Baek Siblings and Jung be friend again.
Hong-Seol works part-time due to her family's poor background. Hence why a lot of us a pretty annoyed that the PD and screenwriter swap it with In Ho so that In Ho ends up getting more scene time and PD was trying to make In Ho the "hero". I already watch it more than 4 times i think, and still not bored. It's just so sad seeing their past, when they are friend. I have recently come across material of this shows productjon problems and am saddened that the show was purposefully botched up.
I've watched this series several times now hoping the ending would change. It would have been better if it had ended in Episode 14 where Hong Seol finally understands and accepts Yoo Jung. You must watch this drama, i highly recommend this drama!! even if there are some slow events i never got bored .. I have never encountered a protagonist like "Yoo Jung" and hats off to Park Hae Jin for the stellar performance in face of so many real difficulties I would like to give the benefit of doubt to the PD since she has never once botched up character stories (Coffee Prince remains an eternal favourite and is a shining example of a romance well done). That's why I want a season 2 with Baek In Ho's new love interest. Since i do not read the webtoon, i have no idea which things are different with the original webtoon.
The movie version was fine as it can be a stand alone story. @bunny: In ho was the one who's there with Seol when she is on hard times, remember when he made her laugh and stand for herself when her co-workers are purposely using her? Please respect others and don't call them immature just because you think so or you cheered for the opposite pair. i felt a real atmosphere/aura through these events .. i can't imagine someone else except Park Hye Jin for Yoo jung's role or another actress takin' Kim Go Eun's place with Seoul's role! Good thing a movie is coming out and hope it removes the bad aftertaste left for many viewers of this superb superb story! I never had a 2nd male lead syndrome before but the eff! I wanna bitch slap Yoo Jung so damn hard for being fcking manipulative and hug Baek In Ho so very tight to ease all his burden. The characters are well potrayed andthe plot is quiet good. After all the story in the previous episodes, the ending is not as good as what i expect.
